The preservational aspects of photography are not only held within the four walls hemming in our images, freezing a moment for the digital eternity. There is a personal side that I see every time I view these images and recall my time on these two special farms. Preserved in me are memories of early morning mists and fall finery draping the leaves as the sun splashed purple over the morning sky. Foxbard and Bardwell are places out of time in many ways, held safe for the here and now, preserved so that morning sun continues to wash over pastoral countryside unhindered by the march of progress.
